I would like to introduce myself as a person who truly believes that life is lived as a journey of moments. I believe our existence here is incomprehensible and made possible by molecules in action. I had the opportunity to learn Biochemistry as a subject in my Masters and as a part of my academic enhancement ,was able to learn more during my M.Phil in 2003. My first appointment was a lecturer here in U.C.College as a part of the Bioinformatics team. The evolution of Bioinformatics as a cutting edge discipline and my career here at U.C.College are in synchrony. Now at Biosciences Department we try to understand the nature of molecules, its applications and how they provide possibilities of curiosity to our students in learning, their career etc. Teaching has always been my passion and being with the students, my blessing. We talk, learn ,understand each other,research and celebrate life here. My pursuit for learning has lead me to the domains of other subjects as well and I am also pursuing academic research in life sciences. My hobbies include reading particularly non-fiction,music, cinema,football. I believe my greatest asset is in communication and consider life itself is the greatest gift we have received.
